Tear trough is the area below the eye, above the cheek. When this area is hollow it looks darker and makes us appear older and tired. Some clients naturally have hollows in this area, some find hollows become more prominent with age or weight loss. Filling the hollows has a secondary benefit of lifting dark shadows caused by the concavity. Addressing mid face volume loss with cheek in partnership with this treatment is a great anti ageing option for some. We use a blunt cannula to administer the filler, with just one point of entry either side – we do this for safety, client comfort and perfectly precise placement. This is an extremely impactful yet discreet treatment which generally lasts 12 months. Not all clients are suitable – those with fluid under the eyes or puffy bags may have drainage issues which would be better addressed by a surgeon.
